The boys are very proud to be Ambassadors for Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity - an incredible organisation that works to fund Roald Dahl Specialist Children's Nurses in communities across the UK.
Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity believe that every seriously ill child should have access to the best possible healthcare. So they provide expert care and support to children with serious illnesses, and their families.
Marvin the Marvellous Crocodile is the Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity mascot, and was designed and created by the charity's president, Quentin Blake. Marvin plays a large role for the charity, making appearances at events and helping to raise funds and awareness wherever he goes.
And now you can have your very own Marvin the Marvellous Crocodile, thanks to the lovely folk at Be My Bear. Be My Bear are selling a limited edition Make a Marvin Kit, to help raise funds and awareness for Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity. 10% of each sale goes directly to the charity.
We were sent a Marvin kit and he really is marvellous - the brightest of reds and so soft! His kit comprises of a 16" skin, stuffing, a heart charm to pop inside him, a little birth certificate and a gift bag - all sent in the post so you can make him easily at home. The boys all loved him and found him very wonderful to cuddle!
We'll be running a giveaway with Be My Bear in a few weeks time to offer three Marvins (one of which is ours!) a lovely new home. But if you can't wait until then, why not pick up a Marvin for a brilliant cause for just £8 plus postage until the end of September (usual price £10.50). Visit bemybear.com for more details.
And if you have a quiet moment, we'd love you to visit roalddahlcharity.org to find out more about the vital work of Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity, and how everyone can help to support them.
