The boys and I are very proud to be Ambassadors for Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity - an incredible charity making a real difference for children with serious illnesses.
Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity funds Roald Dahl Specialist Children's Nurses in communities across the UK. They provide expert care and support to children with serious illnesses, and their families. They believe that every seriously ill child should have access to the best possible healthcare.
Based in hospitals across the UK, they are specialists in their fields.
Roald Dahl nurses support children living with a variety of serious, rare and undiagnosed conditions. To find out more about Roald Dahl children's nurses, click here.
Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity also provide Marvellous Family Grants for families facing financial hardship while caring for a child with a serious illness. They provide support to help families cope, from funding specialist equipment and creative therapies to hospital travel expenses.
There are so many ways that people can support Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity.
From skydiving to cycling and dressing up to baking, supporters do amazing things every year to raise money for the Charity. Whatever takes your fancy, you can do something marvellous to help seriously ill children. There are lots of ideas to choose from - have a look at their website for inspiration.
How about the Dahlicious Dress Up Day? It's part of Roald Dahl Day celebrations on 13th September (or any day you like) and schools and groups across the globe dress up as their favourite Roald Dahl hero, hold a party and raise marvellous funds.
On 11th May, Gabriel Flynn and Theo will be wearing their red tees and getting very muddy at The Little Welly Goes Wild! in Sevenoaks to fundraise for Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity. If you would like to sponsor them we would love your support! Here's our fundraising page, thank you x
